CogniFile is an innovative file management platform designed to solve the growing complexity of managing digital files in modern workspaces. The project introduces a smart, privacy-first approach to file organization by combining generative AI, natural language processing, and automation to help users regain full control over their data.
The solution was developed as part of the A2SV (Africa to Silicon Valley) Generative AI Competition, where it was selected as a winning project at the African level, recognized for its innovation, practicality, and strong technical execution.

My Contribution
UI & Frontend Development
- Implemented the core system of the file storage and the API
- Integrated the RAG system into with the API layer
- Designed and implemented core UI screens (storage views, shared files, landing page)
- Built responsive and accessible interfaces using Next.js and Tailwind CSS
- Integrated frontend logic with AI-driven features (search, tagging, file insights)
- Participated in feature ideation and product design discussions
